There are many ways to make a difference – and they are all equally important. That said, I recall a story about a guy lamenting to his pastor about his regrets over the years. Due to his success in his business, he was rarely able to volunteer time at the numerous events and outreach programs that the church had been doing. The pastor responded that it takes two people to swing a hammer. One to buy the hammer, and another to swing it. For those fortunate enough to give greatly of their time – they are able to help the organization accomplish a great deal. For those fortunate enough to give greatly of their finances, they are equally able to help the organization accomplish a great deal.
